Aircraft Maintenance
Engineering

Introduction

The field of aviation relies heavily on well-maintained aircraft to ensure the safety and efficiency of air travel. Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License (AMEL) plays a crucial role in inspecting, repairing, and maintaining aircraft to ensure their airworthiness. A 2-year license aircraft maintenance engineering program is designed to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills to pursue a career in this exciting and in-demand field.

During the two-year program, students will receive comprehensive training in various aspects of aircraft maintenance and engineering. The curriculum covers a wide range of topics, including aviation regulations, aircraft systems, power plants, avionics, structural repairs, and troubleshooting techniques. Students will also gain hands-on experience through practical training in maintenance facilities and workshops, working on real aircraft and their components.

The program typically combines theoretical classroom instruction with practical training, enabling students to develop a solid foundation in aircraft maintenance and engineering principles. They will learn about the intricacies of different aircraft systems, including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and fuel systems. They will also become familiar with specialized tools, diagnostic equipment, and software used in the industry.
